Steve was born and raised in southern Invercargill, where he grew up drawing, sketching and working on construction sites during his school holidays. All of this naturally led him into the world of architecture, developing a keen interest in sustainable, energy-efficient buildings and the use of BIM to efficiently coordinate projects both before and during construction.
Steve has recently returned from a 4 year stint in Vancouver Canada, where he worked on a wide range of projects, primarily focusing on mid to large scale commercial and multi-unit residential developments. We are excited for him to implement a newly gained fresh perspective for different building technologies and methods into his work at Voxell as one of our Senior Architectural Technicians.
When not in the office, Steve is carving up slopes on his snowboard, mountain biking, or when the weather is bad (more often than not – thanks wellington!) you can find him hanging with friends, winning his way through a competitive board games, or enjoying a few cheeky pints.
