Nadiene is a registered architect with 14 years experience, with specialty expertise in mid-size commercial developments in the Wellington market. From her start in hospitality venues during her time as an Architectural Graduate helping to design and deliver some of Wellington’s hot spots like Spruce Goose, AVIDA, and Ombra; to more recently working as a Senior Architect. Nadiene led the on-site base build refurbishment of two 16+ story buildings in central Wellington intended for workplace accommodation for government tenancies; and has completed the concept, feasibility, resource and building consent documentation for an ambitious subterranean commercial venture in the heart of the city.
Nadiene is a talented and tenacious architect, who thrives on the collaborative nature of design and delivery across the client, stakeholder, and consultant team. She is personable and approachable, enjoys acquiring a deep understanding of the client’s internal processes, the hurdles that they face – and utilising this knowledge to meaningfully inform and tailor their design and delivery process.
Outside of work, Nadiene turns her attention to her three main men – her two young boys and her partner. You can usually find the four of them journeying up the Rimutaka rail trail on their bikes, camping in the serene Foxton or Kaitoke areas, rock pooling and snorkeling at Makara, or simply in their own front yard, the kids flying down an epic DIY fabricated slip N slide while the parents share a G&T or two.
